Last weekend in Gdynia took place the Birthday Run. In total, the event gathered over 3,000 runners in different ages.
There was also a rivalry among the youngest athletes. Run racing for youth took place in four categories. The youngest ones even had just few months. Also young competitors of Nordic walking competed in three age categories.
It was a great opportunity to spent time with friend and familly actively and outside on the fresh air.

During the run were organized contest "Cheering Champion" for schools. Fans were located in four zones on the main street in the city. Children from schools showed their ingenuity and great commitment in encouraging older fellow runners.
The winning school, in addition to the honorable title, will receive a commemorative cup and a prize for buying sports equipment. The results of the contest will be annouced in first week of March.
